 COST & REGISTRATION
Synod Youth Workshop is a week of faith development and fun for young people entering 10th - 12th grades. It is led by well-trained adult and youth leaders.

Participants (youth and adult sponsors) form small groups that serve as a home base for their experience. With their small group leader, participants join in a variety of small group and all-conference activities including...

  • service projects - town night
  • theme presentations - worship
  • variety show - group sharing
  • group building - singing

Each person is expected to participate in all the week’s meetings and gatherings. The ten youth of the Planning Team lead the music, drama, mixers, dances and energizers.

Transportation to The University of Tulsa is the responsibility of each church group.

What to bring: Bible, notebook, work clothes for service project, towels, twin sheets, blankets and pillows.

Clothing is modest casual, except for dress clothes for closing worship. You’re invited to sign up for the Variety Show, bringing whatever props and music you may need.

Additional money, about $35, is recommended for Town Night and an offering during closing worship.

 PARTICIPANTS:
Senior High Youth entering grades 10-12 and graduating seniors.
Adult sponsors, over age 23

REGISTRATION by congregation only, not individuals. Registrations received after June 29th are placed on a waiting list.  


CONFIRMATION:
Registration is not confirmed until one adult is registered for every four youth. Ratio is gender sensitive (e.g. 1 adult male for 1 to 4 male youth).

PACKET MATERIALS:
E-mailed to the youth leader of the church after confirmation.

DEPOSIT: A $60 per person deposit must accompany each registration.

COST: Total cost is $260 per person, paid in full by June 30th.

CANCELLATIONS:
Before June 15 – full refund
June 15-June 30 – deposit not refunded
After June 30 – no refunds

FEE INCLUDES: $60 registration fee, room and board on campus, and T-shirt.
